Managing Director
Aaron is the Managing Director of Wainhouse Distribution, overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations and strategic growth. Having joined the company at just 16 years old, Aaron’s journey began on the warehouse floor, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience learning the fundamentals of the business - from managing inventory and coordinating deliveries to understanding the operational challenges that shape daily workflows.
Over the years, Aaron progressed to strategic roles that allowed him to apply his extensive operational knowledge alongside a growing entrepreneurial mindset. This blend of frontline experience and visionary leadership has equipped him with a unique perspective on the industry and the company’s position within it.
Under Aaron’s stewardship, Wainhouse Distribution has undergone significant transformation and expansion. He spearheaded initiatives to diversify the product range, incorporating new categories that meet evolving consumer needs and industry trends. Recognising the importance of modern infrastructure, Aaron led major investments in technology and logistics systems, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling the company to better serve its extensive network of customers and suppliers.

Business Manager - Health and Beauty
Alana leads our Health and Beauty Division with over 17 years of dedicated industry experience and a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in the cosmetics sector. Her profound knowledge spans marketing strategy, commercial operations and building strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
Starting her career at Wainhouse Distribution as a territory sales manager, Alana quickly distinguished herself through her exceptional sales acumen and client-focused approach. Over the years, she has cultivated a reputation for being a trusted advisor to buyers and suppliers alike, known for her integrity, professionalism, and results-driven mindset.
A seasoned international traveller, Alana regularly attends leading cosmetics trade shows worldwide to source innovative brands and products for distribution across Australasia. Her proactive approach ensures the division remains at the forefront of emerging trends and market demands.
The division managed by Alana represents a diverse portfolio of personal care brands, covering cosmetics, nail care, skincare, haircare, body and bath, as well as gift and novelty items.
With nationwide distribution through an extensive network that includes premium, mainstream, and value department stores, large-format retailers, pharmacies, groceries and specialty gift stores, the division guarantees widespread market presence and seamless product availability.
MARIEL SANTAYANA
Business Manager - Fashion Accessories
With over 19 years of extensive experience in the fashion industry, Mariel leads our Fashion Accessories Division with an in-depth understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and product innovation. Her expertise spans across the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept, branding and design through to product development, manufacturing and successful market launch.
Mariel oversees the creation and evolution of our in-house brands, specialising in fashion apparel, jewellery and accessories, giftware, and lifestyle products that resonate with diverse customer segments. She brings a strategic vision to the team, ensuring every collection is not only fashion-forward but also commercially viable and aligned with current and emerging trends.
An accomplished fashion buyer and well-travelled industry professional, Mariel frequently visits global style capitals such as London and Paris, along with key manufacturing hubs in Asia to draw inspiration, attend industry trade shows, and connect with international designers and suppliers. This global exposure fuels the creativity and relevance of each collection, enabling the division to stay ahead of the curve in a highly competitive market.
Under her leadership, the division consistently delivers innovative, on-trend products that appeal to department stores, fashion boutiques, and specialty retailers nationwide, ensuring a seamless journey from concept to shelf.
